Aliya Faust is a dynamic media and marketing strategist with a passion for storytelling, music, and sustainable community development. Hailing from Philadelphia and Camden County, NJ, she honed her craft at the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism, where she earned a degree in multi-platform journalism with a minor in Family Science. It was there that she discovered her love for radio and digital media—blending entertainment and lifestyle content with a mission to uplift communities.

Inspired by magazines like VIBE, JET, Time, and Cosmopolitan, Aliya built a career at the intersection of journalism, radio, and marketing. While she’s worked as a writer for Kontrol, VIBE, and Cosmopolitan for Latinas, and as a production assistant at ABC News, her journey in radio began at Radio One Philadelphia, later taking her to Cumulus Media New York, where she managed digital content for major stations. In 2014, she launched Gospel Goodies, a gospel entertainment platform that led to on-air opportunities and nationally syndication partnerships.

In 2021, Aliya transitioned from radio to music exec, serving as Director of Marketing at SONY Music’s RCA Inspiration/Provident Entertainment, spearheading branding strategies for top music artists, all the while hosting a gospel radio show on Philly’s Favor 100.7PM.

Aliya currently serves as CEO at Hazel View Media, a boutique marketing agency she founded in 2017. In between her work as a Marketing & Creative Director, she also sits on the board for the Gospel Music Association (GMA) and is deeply invested in community impact.

Beyond marketing and entertainment, Aliya leads the Reginald Faust Foundation which rallies around holistic well-being for underserved communities, championing growth and empowerment through faith, family, food, and fitness. Whether through storytelling, music, or service, her mission remains the same: to inform, innovate, and inspire.
